The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) Assistant Engineer (AE) exam admit card has been released at upenergy.in. The recruitment exam is to be held on March 28, 2022 as a computer-based test (CBT). Along with the AE admit card, the Junior Engineer and Camp Assistant Grade 3 exam admit cards have also been released. Candidates who have applied for these exams can download their admit card by logging in with their User ID and password.
Steps to download the UPPCL AE admit card?
Step 1: Open the website upenergy.in.
Step 2: Scroll down and click on ‘Vacancy/ Results’ tab.
Step 3: Now, click on the ‘Download Admit card for online exam (CBT) for the post of Assistant Engineer (Trainee)’.
Step 4: The candidates will be taken to a new page, where they have to enter their User ID and password.
The admit card will be displayed on the screen. Candidates will be able to check their exam time, reporting time and exam centre details. Along with that, the important instructions pertaining to the exam will also be provided in the admit card. It is mandatory that the candidates take a print out of the admit card and carry it to the exam centre, along with a valid photo ID proof.

UPPCL AE
The UPPCL AE exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates into the posts of Assistant Engineer (Electrical/ Power, Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Science/ Information Technology). There are a total of 113 vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineer. The pay scale for these posts start from Rs.59,500.
AE exam pattern
There are 2 stages in the AE recruitment process- CBT and interview. The syllabus for the CBT will be same as that of the GATE exam. The questions carry 1 mark each, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks. Once the exam is completed, the answer keys will be displayed for a period of 3 days.

Candidates have to secure atleast 30% marks to qualify the CBT. Qualifying candidates will be called up for the interview round. The number of candidates shortlisted for the interview round, based on the CBT merit list will be around 230. The final selection will be done based on the combined scores of CBT and interview.
