What is UP Digishakti Portal?
To implement the various student welfare schemes, the UP government will be using the Digishakti portal for distributing free laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
Students who are presently studying in the colleges and universities of the state can use this portal to access these schemes. Now, as per reports, the UP government is going to distribute 27 lakh electronic gadgets like smartphones, tablets, and laptops during the first phase of distribution. For that, they have to download the official app on their mobile phones first.
There, they have to enter their university, board, or council. After that, one has to enter their enrollment number followed by the captcha. The student will then have to click on the ‘Search’ button This will show the current status of the student and whether their university has enrolled them on the Digishakti app or not.
