Lloyd law College has invited applications for the Law Entrance Test (LET) 2022 examination. Candidates interested in pursuing their undergraduate education in law can apply through the online mode on the official website let.lloydlawcollege.edu.in. However, they will need to fulfill the eligibility criteria specified on the official portal. Although the exact schedule has not been updated on the website, the application process has already begun. Another interesting development is that candidates will be able to take the test at home, through the online mode.
As per official information, the LET 2022 examination will be held through the home-based online format. This test can easily be accessed through any compatible device including a laptop, desktop, iPad, tab, or smartphone. This entrance exam will act as Stage 01 of the selection process. A candidate needs to clear this stage followed by an interview round to finally get admission at Lloyd college.
Candidates applying for the LET 2022 examination will be competing for admission to one of the two UG law courses – BA LLB and LLB. While the first is a 5-year integrated UG-PG course whereas LLB is a simple 3-year UG course. Moreover, the eligibility criteria for both courses also differ to a certain extent.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the BA LLB 5-year course, the following are the eligibility criteria –
# Passed Class 12 with a minimum of 60% marks or a Score in any National level entrance test i.e., CLAT, LSAT-India, AILET, MHCET, BHU, GGSIPU, JAMIA, AMU, and many more. The test score shall be scaled down to a maximum of 50 marks irrespective of the actual score.
# Those who have scored less than 60% score or are appearing in class 12th shall apply for LET 2022 to qualify for the personal interview round
Similarly, to apply for the LLB 3-year course, the following are the eligibility criteria –
# Passed Class 12 with a minimum of 60% marks or a Score in any National level entrance test i.e., DU.LL.B., LSAT, BHU, MHCET, and many more. The test score shall be scaled down to a maximum of 50 marks irrespective of the actual score.
# Those who have scored less than 60% score or are appearing in class 12th shall apply for LET 2022 to qualify for the personal interview round
To grant admission for either BA LLB or LLB course, each candidate’s performance in Class 12 or equivalent exam, a score in the national-level entrance test, and Lloyd Personal Interview will be considered for the admission process.
