The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has successfully conducted the Lower Subordinate Services (PCS) examination today, i.e. December 12, 2021. This exam was held for the preliminary stage. Candidates who will qualify for this stage will be called for the main exam and then the interview. A total of 190 group C vacancies will be filled via this recruitment exam.
However, since the examination is complete now, candidates seem to be in search of the answer keys. It must be noted that UKPSC has not released the official answer keys yet. On the other hand, various coaching institutes have unofficially released the answer keys on their YouTube channels. To get access to these answer keys, follow the steps given below.
Step 1- Go to YouTube at youtube.com
Step 2- Type ‘UKPSC lower PCS answer key 2021’ on the search box
Step 3- A pool of videos will be shown
Step 4- Go through the required answer key and calculate a tentative score.

The preliminary examination of UKPSC lower PCS 2021 is based on General Study & General Aptitude Test. The total marks of the exam is 150 and the total questions asked are 150. This, further, means that for every correct answer, 01 mark will be awarded.
The result declaration process for the preliminary examination is likely to take some time. For the 2016-2017 session, the UKPSC lower PCS preliminary exam was held on November 20, 2016 and the results were published on June 30, 2017. The results were made available after nearly 07 months from the examination date. In that case, for the 2021 session, the results for the UKPSC Lower PCS preliminary exam is likely to be available by July, 2022. Before that, the Commission will release the answer keys.
Cut-off
In the 2016-2017 session, the highest cut-off went up to 89.75 while the lowest cut-off was 38.50. The cut-offs are different depending on the categories. The expected cut-off based on the analysis by YouTube experts is given below.
