The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has released the UKPSC Lower PCS 2021 Notification on its official website i.e. ukpsc.gov.in.The online registration process for the aforesaid posts commences on August 09, 2021, and ends on August 29, 2021. Around 190 vacancies are reported in the official notification of UKPSC Lower Subordinate for filling vacancies of Nayab Tehsildar, Deputy Jailor, Supply Inspector, Excise Inspector, Tax Inspector, etc. The candidates willing to secure a final appointment in any of the vacancies reported will be required to appear in the UKPSC Lower Subordinates selection process i.e. preliminary exam, mains exam, and interview.
The prescribed age limit for the unreserved candidates in the UKPSC Lower Subordinate 2021 is 21 years to 42 years. Along with this, the basic academic qualification is passing Graduation from a recognised university in any stream. The candidates who possess all the relevant eligibility criteria can refer to the steps mentioned below to fill their application form for UKPSC Lower PCS:
Step 1: Initially, the candidates should visit the official website of UKPSC i.e. ukpsc.gov.in.
Step 2: On reaching the homepage, the candidates are required to click on the “Apply Online link of UKPSC Lower PCS” to commence the first phase i.e. Registration.
Step 3: Post this, the candidates have to enter their full name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, marital status, nationality, domicile status, subcategory, Email Id, permanent, and correspondence address along with the final password. Then, the candidates should hit the continue button and move forward.
Step 4: On the next page, the candidates have to furnish their detailed academic qualification i.e. Class 10th/12th/Graduation passing year along with marks scored. pon submitting the information, the candidates will get their UKPSC Lower PCS Application ID and Password on the candidate’s mobile and Email ID. The candidates are then required to click on the candidate login button and enter the same to fill the application form.
Step 5: Next, comes the upload document page wherein the candidates have to upload their photograph and signature. The candidates have to upload scanned copies of both documents. The prescribed file size for photograph and signature should be 20KB to 50KB and 10KB to 50KB respectively.
Step 6: The last step of the application form is the payment of the application fee via online method i.e. Debit/Credit Card and net banking. The application fee for General/EWS/OBC/Ex-Servicemen is Rs 150. While the application fee for the SC/ST candidates is Rs 60.
The final appointment in the UKPSC Lower Subordinate will be made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the preliminary, mains exam followed by an interview. The preliminary exam will be an objective test accounting for 150 marks for the General Studies and General Aptitude Test. The second tier of UKPSC Lower PCS, mains will be a subjective paper having two papers i.e. General Study and Essay & Drafting. Each paper will account for 200 marks, the minimum qualifying marks for the Essay paper will be 35%. The last phase is the Interview round and it will be held for 50 marks.
