Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited has released an official notification for the post of Graduate Apprentice under BOAT Scheme. As per the official notification, the conducting body has announced a total of 56 vacancies for the said posts. Candidates who are interested in recruitment can download the notification from ugvcl.com. Application form the announced posts can be submitted on or before the last date September 15, 2020.
Out of the total 56 vacancies, 39 are announced for the male candidates and 17 vacancies are announced for the female candidates. Those who are shortlisted for the announced posts receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 9000/- during their apprenticeship engagement period. Apprenship period under this recruitment is for 01 years only. They have to work under Mehsana Circle, Palanpur Circle, Himatnagar Circle and Sabarmati Circle.
Applications are invited from both male and female candidates. They must have passed B.E/B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the year 2018 to 2020 securing at least 55% marks. Their age should not exceed that of 28 years while applying for the post. Moreover, age relaxation up to 05 years is provided to the reserved category candidates. Candidates who have appeared in the Master’s examination, have work experience of one year or more, undertaken previous training are not eligible for the post.
Interested candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria are advised to download the application form from the website, ugvcl.com. The duly filled application form should reach ‘The Additional General Manager (HR), Corporate Office, Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited, Visnagar Road, Mehsana-384001’ before the last date. With the application form, photocopies of the school leaving certificate, all semesters mark sheets, degree/ provisional certificate, caste certificate should be attached. A passport size photograph should be affixed on the application form only. Form and documents enclosed should be sent through registered post/ registered courier/ speed post only. The envelope in which applicants are submitting documents and form should be superscribed with “Application for Engagement of Graduate Apprentice under BOAT Scheme”.
The selection of the candidates for the announced posts is based on the marks secured by them in educational qualification. On the basis of this, applicants are called for the interview round. Eligible candidates have to carry original documents at the time of the UGVCL interview. In case more than one candidates secure equal marks then a person with a higher age is considered. The selection list of the candidates will be released once the interview round is over.
