The anticipation and wait are not over as the National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to announce the UGC NET 2022 result. Even the final answer key has not been released on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. As per official sources and media reports, the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2022 results were expected to come out by Sunday, February 13, 2022. However, two days have passed and yet, there is no sign of any score card or final answer key. However, there is a key insight providing clarity on the expected result date.

A recent call made to the NTA helpline number yielded a reason for delay in UGC NET 2022 result announcement. According to the NTA official, results were going to come out on the expected date. However, due to technical reasons, there has been an a delay.
Hopeful Call to NTA Official
Just a day ago, a YouTube named Sardaar Navjot Singh uploaded a video notifying students about the UGC NET 2022 result delay. He further uploaded a recording of the conversation with an NTA official via the helpline number (either 011-69227700 or 011-40759000).
During the conversation, NTA officials clarified that the UGC NET 2022 result was supposed to come out on Sunday. However, owing to technical issues, results have been delayed. There was no further elaboration on those issues. Moreover, NTA has not provided any official statement or clarification regarding the same on its official website.
Another important scoop from this call was the extended deadline for UGC NET 2022 result announcement. As per the official, results are expected to come out by the end of this week. However, the official did not provide any fixed date or time.
UGC NET 2022 Expected Result Date
After the call with the NTA official, it is safe to assume that the UGC NET 2022 results will be announced on or before February 20, 2022. They will be released through the online mode, on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Along with the scorecard, the final answer key is also expected to release on the official portal.
The UGC NET 2022 final answer key will be based on the objections raised by candidates. Initially, NTA released the provisional answer key and activated the objection facility. Using this facility, candidates are allowed to raise the objection against discrepancies in the answer key, if any. Those with valid reasoning and justification were to be incorporated in the final answer key. The final answer key is also expected to release by this Sunday.
