UGC NET Result 2019 by Name: Know how to check

UGC NET Result 2019 by name, or to check UGC NET result 2019 name wise is being frequently looked for nowadays. The first question that candidates, who appeared for exam, want to know is that whether at all it is feasible to check result only by name. To download admit card, or to check answer key, login credentials such as application number, date of birth were required. Yes, you can check your result by name.

In essence it is not directly feasible to check UGC NET result by name per se. Nevertheless name and a few related details help you get your application number which in turn helps you check your result.

To check result and download scorecard, application number and date of birth are required. However, it is not unheard of to misplace application number now and then. One needs to know how to check UGC NET result 2019 by name in such a scenario. This is explained.

Pre-requisites to check UGC NET result by name are your (candidate’s) name, mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, state of residence. The complete process being online, you also need a device such as computer, mobile, laptop, with internet connection.

Now the process is simple. You have to navigate towards the facility of forgot application number and password and click on the forgot application number link. Then you will jump to a form where you have to enter all the details mentioned above and hit submit button. Application number id displayed then. Thus, by simply knowing your name, you can check the result of UGC NET 2019.

NTA published UGC NET result at login only. Lists of candidates qualified for Assistant Professor or JRF are not displayed. Hence there is no option to look for your name in a result list. No such lists are displayed online or otherwise.

UGC NET results are hosted by NTA at ntanet.nic.in. No other website hosts the result. Although notification about result is also published at National Testing Agency’s website nta.ac.in.

Even though roll number is not compulsory to check result, you will need it if you have qualified, to download UGC NET e-Certificate from ugcnetonline.in. At ugcnetonline.in, you have to enter roll number and password in order to download the certificate. However please note that the password required here is the one you have to generate separately through OTP from this website only.

All candidates who are qualified for Assistant Professor and JRF can download e-Certificate from ugcnetonline.in. Those who are awarded JRF are issued Award Letters by post, which they get in a few months time after result.

NTA conducted UGC NET June 2019 on 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th June. Answer key was released on 3rd July, and final answer key was published on 9th July. National Eligibility Test is held twice a year in June and December. National Testing Agency is the premier testing agency in India, which has only recently started holding UGC NET exam, earlier it was handled by CBSE.
