SSC GD Physical Date 2019 Announced; PET PST from 1 August

SSC just published a notification regarding GD Constable 2018-2019 recruitment pertaining to its result and physical date. Through this notification, Staff Selection reminds candidates that last date to submit discrepancy in data or result of GD Constable is 31st July. Physical efficiency test and Physical standards test shall take place after that, tentatively from 1st August.

Provided SSC GD physical date 2019 is relevant to all candidates who were declared as qualified for the PET/PST. For them, next important step is to download admit card of SSC GD Constable 2019 from CRPF website crpf.gov.in. While admit cards for computer based test were released by the Commission, call letter for physical is released by Central Reserve Police Force.

There is no fixed date for issuance of call letters by CRPF. However, it is expected to be available at least one week prior to PET/PST start dates. Hence, candidates may expect PET/PST admit card in last week of July.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) shall be in form of race. Male candidates have to run 5 kilometers in 24 minutes. Female candidates have to run 1.6 kilometers in 8.5 minutes. Male candidates of Ladakh have to run 1 mile in 6.5 minutes. Female candidates of Ladakh have to run 800 meters in 4 minutes.

For Physical Standards Test (PST) in SSC GD recruitment, there will be height measurement and chest measurement. Height should be 170 cms for males, and 157 cms for females. Relaxation, as per norms are applicable.

Reminder to submit issues regarding result is important for all who had appeared in the computer based examination of constable (GD) in CAPFS, NIA, SSF and rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles examination. Discrepancy in data or result needs to be submitted along with copy of application form, and printout of exam scores. Submissions are accepted at regional and sub-regional offices of the Commission.

That candidates can submit grievances related to data shown in result and result itself, was first specified in the ninth paragraph in result write up. Staff Selection Commission shall not entertain any queries related to it beyond the last date.

SSC GD Constable exam was held as computer based test from 11th February to 11th March, in which, 30,41,284 candidates had appeared. As per performance of candidates in the exam, they have been shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10 for PET/PST. Minimum qualifying marks in the exam was 35% for UR and ESM candidates, and 33% for SC, ST, OBC candidates.

The result was declared on 20th June. It was published in form of different lists. Candidates whose roll numbers are in said list are qualified for physical tests.

Marks of candidates were then released on 5th July. To check marks, one has to login with registration no and registered password. The same is available for viewing until 8th August.

This is the second notification related to SSC GD Constable recruitment that released today. Earlier in the morning, final answer keys were published. The final answer key can be downloaded via login. Answers have been revised on basis of inputs received from candidates. Candidates get various chances to submit their concerns with regards to answer key, and result, however all such facilities should be availed within the schedule specified by the organizing body.
