National Testing Agency (NTA) is currently, in the process of conducting the UGC NET 2021 Phase 1, 2, and 3. All three phases of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2021 are being held during the November-December-January period, on a nation-wide level. Candidates who are done with their UGC NET 2021 exam are awaiting the release of the official answer key. This answer key will be released on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. However, this answer key will only be provisional and will be accompanied by an objection facility.
It is expected that either UGC NET answer key 2021 will be released for all phases, together, in January. Or, the NTA could also release answer keys for different phases separately.
If the answer keys are released for all phases at once, then the expected UGC NET answer key release date is any date between January 8, 2022, and January 24, 2022. However, if the answer keys are issued phase wise, then it is likely that the UGC NET 2021 answer key for phase 1 could be released on any date by December 31, 2021; and the expected answer key release date for phase 2 is between December 31, 2021 to January 15, 2022; and that for phase 3 is January 8 to 24, 2022.
This year, UGC NET 2021 exam is being held in different phases. In phase 1, exam dates were November 20 to December 5, 2021. The phase 2 exam dates were December 24 to 27, 2021. And the last and final one, phase 3 exam dates are January 4 and 5, 2022. Also, it may be noted, that the Kannada exam has been rescheduled, and for that new exam date will be announced soon.
Past Year UGC NET Answer Key Release Dates
Last year, the UGC NET examination was conducted for 55 subjects from September 24 to October 17, for which, answer key was released on November 5. Then the NET exam was held from November 04 to 13 for 26 subjects. For the same, answer key was released on November 16.

NTA will first release the provisional answer key for this year’s session. Thereafter, candidates will get time to raise objections against the answer key. They will also be required to provide adequate proof and justification to defend their objections.

The UGC NET 2021 exam is still underway with the lasted sessions scheduled on January 04 and 05, 2022. With still five more sessions remaining, candidates are advised to focus on their last-minute preparation. Furthermore, the exam for the Kannada paper was canceled due to certain technical issues. The commission will be releasing new dates for its examination on its official website soon. It has released an official notification in this regard.
