The agency has conducted the UGC NET exam for December 2020 and June 2021 sessions on January 04 and 05, 2022. It has been 8 to 9 days since the exam was held but there is no update as of now regarding the official date of answer key release.
This miscommunication on the part of the agency is now been exploited by some Youtube channels who are now releasing misleading and fake videos regarding the UGC NET answer key. The students are advised to only go through the official website of NTA and avoid any 3rd party sources. Since all of this will only increase their anxiety level. As per the previous years’ data, the answer key of UGC NET is usually released after 3 to 4 days from the day of the exam. Similarly, the result is also released at least 14 to 15 days after the exam. However, this time citing pandemic or any unexplained reason, the release is delayed. Amidst this uncertain situation, one thing is clear that the result and answer key is just delayed.
Another thing that is still not clear is whether the answer key for UGC NET shall be released phase-wise or for all the phases together. The authorities will release the provisional answer key first and then after receiving objections from the students, a final key will be released. After the examination was over, top educators and coaching classes have released the unofficial answer keys for UGC NET 2021 that was used by candidates to calculate their tentative score.
