Earlier, the examination for both the UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles was supposed to be held together from October 17, 2021, to October 25, 2021. However, the agency had to postpone the examination after it received several requests from the candidates regarding the clashing of dates with other important examinations. As of now, the dates for downloading the UGC NET 2021 admit cards have not been announced by NTA. It is likely that the same will be announced soon.
The admit cards, once released, can be downloaded from ugcnet.nta.nic.in using credentials like application number, date of birth, etc. After downloading the admit cards, it is advised to take a printout of the same. It must be noted that no admit card will be sent to the candidate via post or any other means.
The UGC NET examination is conducted twice a year. However, due to the postponement of UGC-NET December 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire UGC-NET June 2021 schedule has been delayed. Hence, to regularize the UGC-NET examination cycles, the agency, along with the UGC, has planned to merge both the UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles. Both of these examinations will together be conducted in the computer-based test (CBT) mode from the dates mentioned above
