UCO Bank is inviting online applications for the post of Security Officers, Engineers, Economist, Statistician, IT Officer, Chartered Accountant in Specialist Officer cadre. The official notification can be downloaded from the UCO website, ucobank.com. As per the notification, the conducting body has advertised 91 vacancies for this recruitment. Online registrations for this recruitment starts from October 27, 2020. Candidates can apply before the last date i.e November 17, 2020.
Out of the total announced vacancies, UCO has advertised 09 vacancies for Security Officers, 08 vacancies for Engineers, 02 vacancies for Economist, 02 vacancies for Statistician, 20 vacancies for IT Officer, 25 vacancies for Chartered Accountants (JMGS-I) and 25 vacancies for Chartered Accountants (MMGS-II). Candidates who get appointed under these Specialist Officer cadre posts are posted at any branch or office of the Bank across the country.
UCO bank will be conducting an online examination and interview to shortlist eligible candidates under the advertised vacancies. As per the notice, the online exam is scheduled in the month of December 2020/ January 2021. However, the schedule for the interview is not yet shared. Those who are selected in JMGS-I post have to undergo a probation period of 02 years and MMGS-II is on probation of 01 years.
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for UCO Specialist Officers Cadre recruitment. Candidates who have graduation degree with 60% marks are eligible for the post of Security Officer. Those who have an Engineering degree are eligible for Engineer post. B.Arch with minimum 60% marks are required for Architect-Engineer post. Candidates with post-graduation degree are eligible to apply for Economist and Statistician post. Aspirants with BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science with 60% marks can apply for IT Officer post. Qualified CA can apply for Chartered Accountants.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications for the said posts by visiting ucobank.com. On reaching the website, candidates have to click on recruitment > online application for the recruitment of Specialist Officer in SCALE I & SCALE II > apply online button. The candidate is required to submit their working and valid email id and mobile number for successful registration. A registration number and password is then sent to aspirants which should be kept safe.
While applying candidates also have to pay the prescribed application fee. The last date to submit the fee is November 17, 2020. Candidates who belong to Unreserved/ EWs/ OBC category have to pay Rs. 1180/- as the application fee. Those who belong to SC/ST PWD category have to pay Rs. 118/- only. Moreover, the fee can be submitted using the online mode. Aspirants can use debit card/credit card/internet banking.
