Uranium Corporation of India Limited [UCIL], Tummalapalle is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Trade Apprenticeship. Candidates interested in the recruitment can submit their applications for 30 vacant posts. The last date to apply online for UCIL recruitment 2020 is December 16, 2020. The recruitment for Trade Apprentice is announced for the following trades – Fitter, Electrician, Welder [Gas & Electric], Turner/Machinist, Mechanic Diesel, Carpenter and Plumber. Aspirants who are shortlisted for the vacant posts have to undergo Apprenticeship training as well. For this, they get a monthly stipend as per Rule 11 of Apprenticeship Rules. However, UCIL does not employ the candidates who have undergone the training.
To apply for the Trade Apprenticeship, aspirants must have passed 10th class with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST). They should also possess ITI in relevant trade from with National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) aggregate of 60%. Aspirant’s age should not be less than 18 years to apply for UCIL recruitment. Moreover, the upper age limit of candidates should not be more than that of 25 years as on November 30, 2020. Those who have already undergone or undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply.
The applications for this recruitment are accepted only through offline mode. Eligible and interested candidates have to submit their filled application before the last fate through the post. they can download the UCIL application form from ucil.gov.in or uraniumcorp.in. Along with the application form, aspirants are also asked to submit certain documents. This includes the photocopies of 10th board certificate and proof of date of birth, ITI pass certificate, Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS only), the medial certificate only for physically handicap candidates, aadhar card, PAN card. with these also submit one self-address envelope of size 22 cm x 10 cm. All these certificates and application form should reach the prescribed address before the last date as specified.
The selection of candidates under the advertised apprentice is completely based on the merit list. UCIL publishes a merit list based on the marks obtained in 10th and ITI.
