Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) issued a press notice stating that the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) 2021 shall be held in August 2021. The public notice was issued on the official website icet.tsche.ac.in on March 3, 2021. Registration for the entrance exam shall commence from April 7, 2021, and the last date to submit the application form is June 15, 2021. Extra days have also been given to candidates to submit their online application form. However, they shall be charged an extra fee depending on their extent of the delay.
The public notice informed that the first meeting of the TSICET 2021 committee was held on March 3, 2021 at 11:30 am. The meeting was conducted through the online mode under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor and the Chairman of TSICET 2021, Dr. B.Janardhan Reddy, IAS. The members of the committee met to discuss multiple items specified in the agenda. Subsequently, multiple decisions have been approved.
The first approved decision was pertaining to the TSICET 2021 online registration fee. Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.650 for the registration process. However, those belonging to SC, ST and Differently-abled categories have to pay Rs.450 as an application fee.
The second decision taken during the online session was regarding the official dates of notification, online registration and the application form submission. Following this, an official public notice was issued by the authorities on March 03, 2021, on the official website i.e., icet.tsche.ac.in. TSICET 2021 registration process is scheduled to begin on April 07, 2021. The last date to submit the application form without late fees is June 15, 2021.
Authorities have also given the provision to submit the application form after June 15, 2021, with extra charges. Candidates can submit their registration form till June 30, 2021, with Rs.250 as a late fee, they have to pay Rs. 500 as a late fee if they submit their form by July 15, 2021. They may choose to submit their application form by July 30, 2021, but with a late fee charge of Rs.1000.
The CET committee also approved the official dates for conducting the state-level entrance exam for MBA and MCA. According to the notification, TSICET 2021 is scheduled in August 2021 in three sessions. The exam shall be organised on two days – day 1 with a forenoon shift from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. On day 2, there shall be only one session i.e., the forenoon session from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.
TSICET 2021 for MBA and MCA shall be conducted in August 2021 across 14 test centres located in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The examination shall be conducted through the computer-based format while continuing the online application process for registration. Moreover, the qualifying marks percentage shall be 25 per cent for all candidates while no minimum qualifying marks are required for SC, ST students.
