The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Prohibition and Excise Constable in the Excise Department. Interested candidates must know that the online application process will begin from May 02, 2022, onwards. As per the official notification, a total of 614 vacancies are going to be filled via this recruitment. Candidates desiring to apply must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements prior to filling out the online application form.
Desirous candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and not 22 years as of July 01, 2022. In other words, the candidate should have been born not earlier than July 02, 2000; and not later than July 01, 2004. However, age relaxation will be given to certain categories.
In terms of educational qualification, the applicant must have passed the intermediate or its equivalent examination that is recognized by the state government as of July 01, 2022. The candidate must be medically fit. Detailed information regarding the medical standards has been mentioned in the official notification. The requisite visual standards have been given below.

The online application process for TS Excise Constable recruitment 2022 will commence on May 02 and will continue till May 20, 2022. Before filling out the application form, the candidate should keep a soft copy of their passport-size photo combined with their signature in a JPG or JPEG format. Note that the file size should not exceed 50 KB. The application process comprises multiple stages which have been mentioned below.
- Registration using mobile number
- Post selection
- Fee payment (as per the selected post)
- Filling out Part I of the application form
- Uploading scanned copy of the photograph combined with signature
- Submission of application form
OBC and BC candidates who have a local status in Telangana have to pay Rs 800 as the application fee. However, the same for SC and ST candidates is Rs 400. The fee can be paid by credit card, debit card, net banking or any other mode.
Candidates will first have to appear for the preliminary written test or PWT which will be held for a duration of 03 hours. This will be followed by the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurements. After that, the final written examination is going to be held based on which the final selection will be held.
