TNUSRB Result 2018 Written Test Marks and Final Answer Key Published, Check Here

The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has announced the result of the written exam and published the final answer key on April 14, 2018. The candidates can check their result online at tnusrbonline.org. The result and final answer key have been published for Gr. II Police Constables, Gr. II Jail Warders, and Firemen.

To check their result, visit the official website of the Board, and then click on the “Existing User click here to Login”. Then enter your User ID and Password. Click on “Login” button to submit the details and your result will appear on the screen. Finally, download and take a print out of it.

The Board conducted the written exam on March 11, 2018, for selecting candidates for 6140 posts. The exam was held in offline mode and it was of 1 hour and 20 minutes duration. The exam was of total 80 marks. There were two sections in the question paper namely, General Knowledge which was of 50 marks and Psychology of 30 marks.

TNUSRB has released the final answer keys of the exam as well as at its official website. The answer key is available in pdf format. The final answer key has been released after considering the objection(s) raised by the candidate in the preliminary answer key.

As per the newspaper reports, close to 5 lakh candidates had appeared for the written exam and a total of 35,695 candidates had appeared in the central zone for the combined recruitment of Grade -II Police Constables, Grade II Jail Warders and Firemen.

The qualifiers of the written exam will now have to appear for the next stage which is measurement test, endurance test, and physical efficiency test.

For the Physical Enduration Test, the candidates should fulfill the given conditions. The height of the Male candidate belonging to General, BC, BC(M), MBC/DNC category should be 170 cms, whereas for SC, SC(A) / ST category the height should be 167 cms. The chest should be 81 to 86 cms with the expansion of 5 cms.

The Ex-servicemen, Ex-personnel of Para Military Forces and serving Army / CPMF persons who are going to retire within 1 year from the last date of receipt of the application need not require to appear for Physical Measurement Test. However, these candidates need to appear for the Endurance Test.

The Women/ Transgender have to appear for the Physical Measurement Test. The height of the Female/ Transgender candidates belonging to the General, BC, BC(M), MBC/DNC category should be 159 cms, whereas for the SC, SC(A) /ST category should be 157 cms.

For the Endurance Test, Male candidates have to run 1500 metres within 7 minutes, however, Female candidates have to run 400 metres within 2 minutes 30 seconds. The Ex-servicemen, Ex-personnel of Para Military Forces and serving Army / PMF persons who are going to retire within 1 year from the last date of receipt of application have to run 1500 metres within 8 minutes.

Lastly, there will be Physical Efficiency test, in which the candidates need to compete in various events such as Long Jump, Shot-put throw or Cricket ball throw, Running.
