The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released a detailed notification regarding the Group 4 recruitment examination today on its official website. The examination will be held on July 24, and the result is expected to be published in October. Candidates can apply online on the official website of TNPSC tnpsc.gov.in till April 28, 2022. The examination is held to recruit candidates for 7301 vacancies available under various posts such as Village Administrative Officer, Junior Assistant, Typist, Steno Typist, Bill Collector etc.
Exam Date
The examination for various posts will be held on July 24, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Candidates can apply online till April 28, 2022. For first-time users/new registrations, a one-time registration is required before proceeding to fill in the application form. The login ID and password generated during the one-time registration should be used to fill the application form whenever applying for the recruitment.
The eligibility criteria and other qualifications required for applying to vacancies under Group 4 are described in detail in the official notification. Candidates can apply for posts provided that they meet the eligibility prescribed by TNPSC. The result of the Group 4 examination will be released in October followed by certificate verification and counseling in the month of November.
Exam Pattern
The examination will consist of Multiple Choice Questions divided into two parts. Part A will contain questions related to Tamil language whereas Part B will contain questions from General Science, Current Events, Geography, History, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Indian National Movement, History, Culture, Heritage and Socio-Political Movements of Tamil Nadu, Administration in TN and Mental Ability Test. The total marks for the examination is 300 with a minimum of 90 required to qualify the examination. Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for document verification and counseling.
