The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Chennai has released the halls tickets for the post of lectures (engineering and non-engineering) in the government polytechnic colleges. Candidates who have applied for the particular recruitment can now download the admit cards from the official website of TRB – trb.tn.nic.in. The computer-based examination will be conducted over five days starting from December 08 to December 12, 2021. TN TRB Polytechnic lecturer hall ticket contains details like the city, town and the district of the examination centre.
The examinations will be held in both the forenoon and afternoon sessions, details regarding which will be available on the hall tickets. To download the admit cards, here are the steps that one can follow.
Step 1- Go to the official website of TRB – trb.tn.nic.in
Step 2- Now, click the link that reads ‘Direct Recruitment of Lecturers (Engineering/Non-Engineering) in Government Polytechnic Colleges for the year 2017-19 – Press News and Admit Card’
Step 3- A new page will open below which there will be a link named ‘Click here to download Admit Card’
Step 4- On the top-right corner of the page, click on the ‘Registered Candidate’ option
Step 5- Enter user ID and password to log in
Step 6- Go to the dashboard and click on the required option to download Polytechnic lecturer hall ticket 2021
Step 7- Take a printout of the same.

At present, the official website seems to have a ‘server down’ problem and many candidates may not be able to download the admit cards. So, it is advised to keep trying after some time or wait until the problem gets resolved. It must be noted that the examination centres will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of priority. Candidates can also request for change in the examination centres by sending emails to [email protected]. The upcoming examination will be held for a total of 16 subjects.
