TN DBCWO Looking for 40 Male & Female Chef, Apply Before Sep 18, Details Here!

Tamil Nadu District Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Office is looking for candidates with adequate cooking skills to fill up positions for Chef in various hostels

District Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Office, Tamil Nadu has advertised 40 job openings for the post of Chef (Male) & Chef (Female). DBCWO, Tamil Nadu has posted an official recruitment notification in this regard. Interested candidates can refer to the website tn.gov.in for all the complete details of the recruitment. DBCWO is inviting candidates having the requisite skills and proficiency over the Tamil language to apply for the recruitment. The last date of receipt of applications is September 18, 2020, till 05.45 PM. Eligible and intending candidates are encouraged to go through the official notification carefully and understand all terms and conditions before applying for the recruitment.

A total of 40 vacancies have been advertised by the District Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Office. The vacancies are for male and female candidates for the post of Chef. The distribution of the available openings is also indicated clearly against male or their female counterparts. There are 25 vacancies available for male candidates and 15 vacancies for female candidates. Further post details and remuneration can be checked by referring to the official notification. Candidates are reportedly entitled to receive a payment of Rs 15700 per month in exchange for their services at the designated job role.

Intending applicants must be adequately skilled to undertake the responsibilities designated against the job role. For the post of male or female chef, candidates must be adequately skilled to cook a wide variety of non-vegetarian and vegetarian dishes. In addition, it is a mandatory criterion that all applicants are proficient in the Tamil language. They must be proficient enough to read, write and speak in the Tamil language. The conducting body has also specified the minimum and maximum age of the applicants that is acceptable for recruitment. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not more than 30 years old in order to apply. However, relaxations on the upper age limit are applicable to candidates belonging to special reserved categories. Interested candidates are advised to refer to the official recruitment notification for the complete details of the relaxations on the upper age limit for reserved category candidates.

Selected candidates are to be posted at various hostels in the district. The selection is to be conducted on basis of eligibility and interview. Candidates are advised to send in their applications in the prescribed proforma only. The format of application is appended with the recruitment notification itself and available at the official website. Completely filled up applications can be forwarded so as to reach the authorities before or on the last date of receipt of applications.
