District Health & Family Welfare Samiti, North 24 Pargana, West Bengal is inviting applications to fill up 221 vacancies on a contractual basis. A detailed recruitment notification has been released in this regard at the official website wbhealth.gov.in. The vacancies are for various posts including the post of Staff Nurse, GDMO, Lab Tech, Counsellor, Hospital Attendant, Sanitary Attendant, Data Manager and others. The vacancies are available under NHM and WBSAP&CS. Eligible and intending candidates are invited to forward their applications strictly by post to the CMOH, District Hospital, Barasat. The last date of receipt of applications is September 29, 2020.
As per the employment notification, 212 vacancies are available under NHM while the rest of the 09 vacancies are available under WBSAP&CS. Under the NHM, one vacancy each is available for the posts of District Consultant Quality Monitoring, MO, Lab Tech, Counsellor (NPCDCS), Counsellor (NHM-Blood Bank), Hospital Attendant and Accounts Personnel. In addition, 18 vacancies for the post of FTMO, 03 for the post of GDMO, 182 for the post of Staff Nurse and 02 for the post of Sanitary Attendant are also available under NHM. On the other hand, under the WBSAP&CS, 01 vacancy each is available for the posts of Lab Tech (PPTCT) & Data Manager and 07 vacancies are available for the post of Lab Tech (ICTC). Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as specified for each post. Candidates with a degree in Statistics and within 40 years of age are eligible to apply for the post of District Consultant (Quality Monitoring). Candidates having an MBBS degree and within 63 years of age are eligible to apply for the post of MO, FTMO, and GDMO under NHM. Those who have GNM qualification and within the maximum age of 64 years are eligible to apply for the post of Staff Nurse.
12th pass candidates with DMLT qualification and within the age of 40 years are eligible to apply for Lab Tech post. Candidates having a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences/Degree or Diploma in Counselling/Health Education/Mass Comm. are eligible to apply for the post of Counsellor (NPCDCS). 10th pass candidates can apply for the posts of Hospital and Sanitary Attendant. It is advised that candidates refer to the detailed notification for the complete information about post-wise minimum eligibility criteria and location of posting after the appointment.
Applicants have to pay a fee of Rs 100 (Rs 50 for reserved categories) in order to apply. The fee can be paid through cash deposit in any Bank of India branch in favour of the District Health & Family Welfare Samiti; A/c No. 424210100036711, IFSC Code: BKID0004242, Barasat Branch. The original copy of the deposit slip must be attached with the applications before sending. A candidate can apply for a maximum of 02 posts only.
Applications must be made in the prescribed proforma only and forwarded by Speed/Registered post only. Candidates must take care to ensure that applications are not incomplete and one must also attach relevant self-attested copies of supporting documents along with the applications.
