Giving relief to thousands of unemployed candidates, the Ministry of Finance has released a whopping 30,453 vacancies for different posts across various departments of the Telangana state government. The clearance for the vacancies was released earlier on Wednesday. Earlier, the Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekar Rao, had announced in the legislative assembly that 80,039 vacancies were to be filled in the state. As such, Finance minister Harish Rao and the ministry officials were asked to review and approve as many jobs as possible.
As per the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Finance minister, Sports minister Srinivas Gowda, Education minister Sabita Indrareddy along with other ministers like CS Somesh Kumar and the Finance minister special secretary Ramakrishna Rao held several rounds of discussion regarding the matter. Ultimately, 30,453 jobs have been approved in the first tranche. The Finance minister will soon take up the vacancies in other departments as well. Overall, TSPSC has 3576 vacancies, TSLPRB has 16804 vacancies, MHSRB has 12690 vacancies and DSC has 45 posts. These vacancies are going to be filled in the first phase of recruitment. More details regarding the vacancies have been given below.
Health, Medical & Family Welfare – A total of 12735 vacancies are going to be filled in this department. This will be done through direct recruitment. Moreover, a total of 45 assistant professor vacancies will be filled at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS).
Transport Department – As per the state’s announcement, a total of 212 vacancies will be filled through direct recruitment. Out of this, the Telangana State Public Service Commission will fill 149 vacancies and the State Level Police Recruitment Board will fill 63.
Home – Out of the 231 vacancies, 229 will be filled under Director General of Police, Hyderabad, and 02 vacancies under Director-General, Telangana Special Protection Force, Secunderabad. Additionally, 31 vacancies for the post of Junior Assistant will be filled under the Director General of Prisons and Correctional Services. However, 154 vacancies are going to be filled through TSLPRB.
