Anna University, Chennai, is all set to commence the registration for TANCET 2022 examination. Interested individuals who wish to pursue their master’s degree in Management, Architecture, Engineering and Technology will be able to access the online form on tancet.annauniv.edu. However, they will have to ascertain their eligibility before applying for the entrance test. For their convenience, the university has published a detailed information brochure, specifying the eligibility criteria to be fulfilled for each course.
TANCET – Important Dates
The TANCET 2022 registration process shall continue till April 18, 2022, up to 4:00 pm. While the test for MBA and MCA shall be held on May 14, the exam for ME, M.Tech, M.Plan, and M.Arch shall be conducted on May 15. THe admit cards for TANCET 2022 will be tentatively issued on May 02.
TANCET 2022 – Eligibility for MBA
All those who are applying for the MBA course must fulfill the following eligibility criteria –
- Must have acquired a recognised Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50% (45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST categories belonging to Tamil Nadu) in the qualifying degree exam.
- An educational pattern of 10 + 2 + 3 / 4 /5 years, or
- An educational pattern of 10 + 3 years Diploma +3 years, or
- B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. / B.Pharm degree, or
- 10 + 2 + AMIE, or
- 10 + 3 years diploma awarded by the State Board of Technical Education + AMIE
TANCET 2022 – Eligibility for MCA
In the case of MCA, the following are the eligibility criteria to fulfill –
- Must have achieved a recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in B.C.A. or B.Sc. (Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent), or a pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration (in the field other than the ones specified before) with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or graduation level.
- Must have obtained at least 50 % (45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA, and ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) in the qualifying degree exam
- Must have acquired a recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50% (45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST categories belonging to Tamil Nadu) in the qualifying degree exam.
- An educational pattern of 10 + 2 + 3 / 4 /5 years, or
- An educational pattern of 10 + 3 years Diploma +3 years, or
- B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. / B.Pharm degree, or
- 10 + 2 + AMIE*, or
- 10 + 3 years diploma awarded by the State Board of Technical Education + AMIE
TANCET 2022 – Eligibility for M.Arch & M.Tech
All those who are applying for M.Tech, M.Arch courses need to fulfill the following educational criteria –
- Must have acquired a recognised Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained at least 50% (45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) in the qualifying degree exam.
- B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. Degree Programmes, or
- B.Pharm. Degree Programmes, or
- Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which are prescribed, or
- 10 + 2 + AMIE, or
- 10 + 3 years diploma awarded by the State Board of Technical Education + AMIE
