Periyar University, Tamil Nadu has released the results for the undergraduate and postgraduate examinations. Students who have appeared for the examinations can now check the results from the official website – periyaruniversity.ac.in. For checking the results, students have to use their registration number and date of birth. The examinations were conducted for courses like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA and MA. The results have been announced almost one month after the conclusion of the exams. Results for UG first, second and third, and PG first and second year have been announced.
How to check?
The results have been declared on the university’s controller of examinations website. Students who have appeared for both UG and PG examinations can now check the results using the steps given below.
Step 1- Visit the official website of Periyar University at periyaruniversity.ac.in
Step 2- On the right-hand side of the page and under the ‘News’ category, click on the ‘Result Link’ for UG (2nd and 3rd Year) PG (2nd Year) results, and UG/PG First Year Results.
Step 3- A new page will open where one has to enter the registration number and date of birth.
Step 4- Click on the ‘Get Result’ button to check the results.

There were two sessions over which the examinations were held. The forenoon session was conducted from 10 AM to 1 PM and the afternoon session took place from 2 PM to 5 PM. These examinations commenced on February 01.
As per reports by several regional dailies, around 9 lakh students had appeared for the semester exams. The university conducted the exams after the COVID situation in the state had subsided. Students who pass the semester exam would be promoted to the next year.
