Symbiosis International (Deemed) University recently revised the dates for both exams – Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (SITEEE) 2021, and Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2021. Accordingly, the last date to register for the SITEEE 2021 examination is June 15, 2021, till midnight. Similarly, the last date to register for the SET General or SLAT 2021 examination is June 28, 2021. Candidates who are interested and eligible for the undergraduate courses offered at Symbiosis are advised to register on or before the prescribed date on the official website set-test.org.
SITEEE 2021 shall be conducted for candidates who wish to pursue a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.). The examination is scheduled to be conducted on Monday, June 28, 2021. Registration for the same is scheduled to end on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. However, authorities are yet to decide the dates for admit card release and announcement for results. Furthermore, the exam time shall also be announced in due course.
The SET or Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2021 is scheduled to be conducted from July 10 to 13, 2021. The registration process for the is scheduled to end on Monday, June 28, 2021. Similar to SITEEE 2021, SET 2021 dates for admit cad release and result announcement are not known. Thus, candidates are advised to consistently check the official website for getting their queries resolved. Moreover, candidates must bear in mind that Symbiosis may also check the exam schedule for both exams due to the uncertain COVID19 situation prevailing in the country.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for either SITEEE 2021 or SET/SLAT 2021 on the official website set-test.org. To do so, they must first register on the website. In case they are applying for both exams, candidates can choose the morning session for one exam and afternoon session for the other. In the next step, candidates must fill the online application form. Additionally, they must upload their recent, coloured passport-size photograph at the time of online registration.
In the last step, candidates must ensure that information entered in the application form is correct before finally submitting it. In case of engineering, candidates who have appeared for other exams like JEE Main 2021 or MHCET 2021 can directly apply to the concerned institute. In this case, the institute is Symbiosis Institute of Technology.
Candidates applying for either of the two entrance exams must also pay the prescribed application fee. They can do so using Billdesk payment gateway, Indian Bank payment gateway or Demand Draft. SLAT or SET 2021 candidates have to pay Rs.1950 as the registration fee along with Rs.1000 as the programme registration fee.
SITEEE 2021 candidates must pay Rs.2000 as exam registration fee along with Rs. 1000 as programme registration fee. Candidates must remember that this fee is non-transferable as well as non-refundable. In case candidates wish to take a test in the morning as well as afternoon sessions, they must pay the registration fee for both sessions. These formalities must be completed before the deadline of respective exams.
