Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has cancelled and rescheduled the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2018 which was to be held on February 05, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The shift 1 examination has been cancelled because of the enabling of E-Calculator on candidate’s console. The rescheduled examination now will be conducted on February 08, 2019. The re-examination will be conducted for those candidates who had appeared today in Shift I examination.

The candidates should note that the examination which scheduled to be held on February 07, 2019 is not cancelled. It is mandatory for all the candidates to carry a hard copy of the Admit Card and one valid photo id proof (aadhar card, pan card, voter id card, passport etc) on the day of the examination. SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2018 for the computer-based examination was issued on January 29, 2019, at the official website.

In the paper will be having three parts i.e. part 1, 2 and 3. In the part questions related to general intelligence and reasoning will be asked. In part 2 and part 3 questions related to general awareness and English language & comprehensions respectively will be asked. The part 1 and 2 each will carry 50 marks. Part 3 will be of 100 marks and the paper will be of total 200 marks.

 Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ 2018 - CBT Exam Pattern

After the few weeks from the examination day Answer Key will be released by the SSC at the official website.  With the help of answer key candidates will be able to estimate the scores. For each correct answer 1 marks will be awarded and for each incorrect answer, 1/4 marks will be deducted which means that there will be the negative marking.

The Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Result 2018 will be declared at the official website. The result will contain the name and roll number of the qualified candidates. The candidates who will qualify the written examination by scoring minimum qualifying marks those will be shortlisted for appearing in the skill test.

In the skill test dictation of 10 minutes in English and Hindi at 100 wpm (for Grade C) and 80 wpm (for Grade D) respectively will be given. Candidates will have to type the dictated matter on the computer.

Skill Test - Exam Pattern

After the successful conduction of the skill test, SSC Stenographer Result 2018 will be declared by the SSC. The candidates who will qualify the skill test and document verification those will be finally recruited to the applied post.
