The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the results for the MTS Tier 1 examination today, i.e. March 04, 2022. Candidates who have appeared for the examination can now check the results from the official website – ssc.nic.in. The results have been released around 5 PM which was the expected time. The MTS Tier 1 2021 examination was successfully conducted from October 05 to 20, 2021. Candidates who have qualified for Tier 1 of the recruitment exam will now have to appear for Tier II.
As per SSC, a total of 44680 candidates have qualified for SSC MTS Tier 2 examination that will be conducted in the second phase. Out of this, 18480 candidates belonged to and/or were shortlisted as unreserved category, 3070 were from EWS, 3590 from SC, and 2980 from the ST category.

How to check?
SSC has released the results in the form of a downloadable merit list. Candidates are required to crosscheck their names and roll numbers from the list to know the qualifying status. To know how to check the results, here are the steps that can be followed.
Step 1- Firstly, visit the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in
Step 2- On the top-right corner of the page, click on the ‘Result’ button
Step 3- Under the examination name, find ‘Result of Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination (Tier 1), 2020’
Step 4- Now, under the ‘Result’ column, press the ‘Click Here’ button
Step 5- The PDF version of the results will open on a new tab
Step 6- Download and save the merit list to check the results.

SSC MTS Tier 1 Cut-offs
Along with the shortlist, the commission has also released state-wise and category-wise cut-offs through a press release. It can be seen that the UR category cut-off was comparatively higher in all states than the other. In addition, these cut-offs are available as per two age groups, i.e. 18 to 25, and 18 to 27.

As mentioned already, candidates who have qualified for Tier 1 will now have to appear for Tier 2, the dates of which will be notified in due time. Through this recruitment examination, a total of 3266 vacancies are going to be filled. The total vacancies have been again divided among the different regions. SSC MTS Tier 2 2021 Exam
In the second tier, the Paper II of the recruitment examination will be conducted. It will be a descriptive paper in which the candidates have to write a short essay or letter in English or any other language. The maximum marks allotted to this paper is 50 and a duration of 30 minutes will be given to the candidates. Those candidates who are eligible for scribe will be given 40 minutes. This paper is qualifying in nature and will mainly test the candidates’ elementary language skills.
