Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to conduct the SSC Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment examination for tier I from July 01 to 20, 2021 whereas tier II examination is to be held on November 21, 2021. According to the available records, over 45 lakh candidates have submitted their completed application to apply for the recruitment examination. SSC is also scheduled to release the admit cards for all the registered candidates on their official website ssc.nic.in. The admit cards are expected to release in the third week of June 2021, according to reports.
Available records about the exam imply that an overwhelming number of candidates have applied for the MTS 2021 recruitment examination. A total of 45,35,071 candidates have successfully submitted their completed application form to the SSC authorities. This recruitment exam is primarily conducted to fill-up the Group C posts in various governmental departments and agencies.
SSC postponed the release of the official notification in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They released the recruitment notification this year and subsequently, the registration process for MTS 2021 was concluded on March 21. SSC has also announced the examination dates for tiers I and II.
According to reports, SSC MTS 2021 admit cards are scheduled to release in the third week of June 2021. Successfully registered candidates can download their admit cards from the official website ssc.nic.in by entering their login credentials. These credentials include the registration number and DOB. Only registered candidates shall be issued admit cards by the concerned authorities.
SSC MTS 2021 Tier I examination is scheduled from July 01 to 20, 2021 in computer-based format. The examination shall be conducted in various centres across the country. Candidates who qualify the tier I exam have to appear for the tier II examination scheduled on November 21, 2021. This shall be a descriptive-type test. The entire test scheduled has been announced by the SSC authorities through an official notification issued on ssc.nic.in.
SSC MTS 2021 tier I examination shall comprise of subjects like English language, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and General Awareness. Candidates are advised to check the previous-year question papers to understand the type of questions being asked under each subject.
The tier I examination shall comprise of 100 multiple-choice questions divided equally among four subject sections. Each correct answer shall be awarded 1 marks whereas 0.25 marks shall be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates shall be given a duration of 90 minutes to answer all 100 questions in the MTS 2021 Tier I exam.
Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the tier II examination which shall be a descriptive-type test scheduled in November 2021. Candidates are required to write a short essay or letter of 50 marks within the duration of 30 minutes. Candidates who qualify this exam shall be eligible to appear for the final selection stage -document verification.
