SSC GD Constable Result 2019 Out On 21 Jun; How To Check And What Next?

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will declare the SSC GD Constable Result 2019 on June 21, 2019. The candidates can check the result in the online mode only. To check the result the candidates have to visit the official website of SSC which is ssc.nic.in. The result is being declared for the SSC GD constable 2019 exam held on February 11 – March 11, 2019.

How to check the SSC GD Constable Result 2019? To check the result the candidates have to follow the link for the result over the official website. Or the candidates can also visit the official regional websites directly. Click on the result link therein and check the notice of the result that has the names of the selected candidates.

The result declared forms the basis of the recruitment against 58373 vacancies and for  Constable (General Duty) in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, NIA, SSF, Riflemen posts.

What after qualifying the SSC GD Constable 2019 CBT? The candidates who can see their names in the selection list, they have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standard Test (PST), which is conducted by the  CAPF. In the PET the candidates have to qualify the race that is the male candidates have to run 5 Kms in 24 minutes and the females have to run 1.6 Kms in 8.5 minutes.

The physical standards that the candidates must have are – males must be at least 170 cms in height and the females must be at least 157 cms tall. In addition to that, the males must have a minimum chest size of 80/5 cms. This criterion is not applicable for the female candidates.

After the PET and PST, the candidates who are declared fit by CAPF can proceed for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). In the DME, the commission will examine the candidate medically and they verify the documents of the candidates as well. This is the final round of the entire recruitment process.

The vacancies against which the recruitment is being held in 58,373. This year, 52,20,335 candidates had registered for the examination. Of these, only 30,41,284 have appeared for the exam. SSC GD Constable 2019 exam was held in a total of 54 shifts spread over a period of 18 days. The examination was conducted in 31 states and UTs, 125 cities and at 297 examination venues.

Initially, the result for the exam was to be declared on May 21, 2019. But the dates were pushed back to June 21, 2019. For any changes in the dates if any, the candidates have to check the official website for notice.
