NEET 2019 Counselling Starts After 4:00 PM, Today; 5 Points To Explain The Process

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the NEET 2019 Counselling process today after 4 PM at mcc.nic.in. earlier the NEET 2019 Counselling schedule was announced and thus MCC is starting the counselling today, June 19, 2019, onwards keeping up with the same. The counselling is an online process that is held for the 15% All India Quota seats.

The candidates have to register for the NEET 2019 Counselling and do the choice filling after that. The choice filling is the process in which the candidates can select the course and college of their choice. To register for counselling the candidates have to keep the NEET 2019 application form handy for reference.

The candidates have to also pay off a counselling registration fee of Rs. 5000/- (non-refundable) and Rs. 2,00,000/- (refundable). This is applicable for all the Deemed Universities. For (15% All India Quota)/ Central Universities (DU, AMU, BHU, and Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi)/AFMS & ESI the refundable fee is Rs. 1000/- for UR candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates. The non-refundable fee for thee institutes is Rs.10,000/- for UR candidates & Rs. 5,000/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH.

The candidates have to make the payments in the online mode only using net banking/ credit card/ debit card. Only after the successful payment of the fee, the candidates are allowed to proceed for the choice filling.

Here are the 5 points to explain the NEET 2019 Counselling Process:

#1 Counselling Password: First the candidates have to visit mcc.nic.in. Thereafter the candidates have to complete the online registration. Once the candidates have completed the registration process, a password is generated for NEET-UG 2019 Counselling login. The candidates have to use the same password for all future logins of the counselling.

#2 Paying the counselling fee: The candidates have to make the payment of the counselling fee as per their category and only then they can proceed ahead.

#3 Choice Filling, Modification & Locking: candidates have to fill in the choice of Institutions/colleges/courses in order of the preference. the candidates can modify their choices as many times they want before they lock it finally. It is necessary to lock the choices to get a print of your submitted choices.

#4 Seat Allotment Result: The candidates can check what is the allotment made to them by the MCC online. The allotment is done based on their NEET 2019 AIR, preference of choice and availability of seats. The candidates who are not allotted the seats can participate in the second round where they have to again submit fresh choices.

#5 Report to the Allotted Institute, complete Admission formalities: The candidates who are allotted the seats have to report at the allotted Medical/Dental College. The candidates need to carry the necessary documents in proof of academic qualification, date of birth, qualifying NEET 2019, etc.

The candidates who do not report at the reporting center as per the schedule are not considered for admission.
