SSC CGL 2022 Tier 2 exam will take place on January 28 and 29, 2022. SSC has announced the SSC CGL Tier-2 application status and admit card 2021-22 for all regions on its regional official websites. Previously, Tier 2 has been canceled because of the ongoing COVID pandemic. Tier 1 of the CGL Exam 2020 was already held, and the results were announced in December 2021. The Descriptive Paper (Tier 3), will be conducted on February 6, 2022. The exam will be conducted online in numerous shifts across the country.

A candidate should also be familiar with the exam pattern used by the SSC to choose candidates for grade-B and grade-C positions, and these SSC CGL previous year question papers are the ideal approach to learn about the pattern. SSC CGL Preparation Tips

  1. Since the Tier 2 exam is around the corner, candidates need to prioritise things according to the syllabus and exam paper. Focus on what is more important. Therefore, it is advisable that candidates should not start learning new concepts. This can prove challenging as the time is limited, and in turn will demotivate the candidate.
  2. Revise formulas and important points. Also, revisit any difficult concepts that the candidates have already prepared. YouTube videos will prove to be very helpful for this.
  3. Another important factor is strategy. Candidates can make use of these last few minutes by revising their strategy. This will help the candidates to manage their time effectively and maintain their composure in the exam hall. Candidates can attempt 1 or 2 mocks to strengthen their strategy.
  4. Also, candidates should start preparing for the exam day. Keep the important documents ready, including admit card, ID proof. Read the exam day instructions and COVID protocols at the exam centre. Candidates should also try to be familiar with the exam centre. This will keep the candidates distracted for a while and help them to be fully prepared for the big day.

The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam is a MCQ-type exam, which consists of 3 papers. A candidate will have to appear for one or more papers depending on the category of posts the candidate has applied for. The maximum marks for each paper is 200 and the duration is 2 hours. The Tier 2 exam will be followed by Tier 3 and 4. Qualified candidates will be called up for the personal interview round and will be required to undergo Physical Endurance Test (PET) and medical examination.
