Staff Selection Commission (SSC), northeastern region has released the admit card for Combined Graduate Level examination tier 2. All those who have qualified the SSC CGL tier 1 exam can now download the SSC CGL admit card from the official website of SSC north eastern region region, sscner.org.in. SSC CGL 2018 tier 2 is scheduled to be held from September 11 to 14, 2019.
Candidate can download their admit card by logging on to SSC north eastern portal and then click on the link “E-Admit card of Combined Graduate Level Examination 2018 TIER II”. Once after clicking on the link, candidates will be redirected to a new page on the computer. Then, they will be prompted to enter their registration number / roll number / name along with date of birth. After entering the information, click on the “click to know status” button. The admit card will be available in the computer screen. Candidates have to make sure to download and take a print out of it.
SSC NER has further published a notification, that says, ” It is reiterated that the candidates of Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-II), 2018 while appearing in the Computer Based Examination commencing w.e.f. 11.09.2019 up to 14.09.2019, must carry an original Photo Identity Card having the Date of Birth as printed on their Admission Certificates. If the Photo Identity Card does not have the Date of Birth then the candidate must carry an additional certificate, in original, as proof of Date of Birth. In case of mismatch in the Date of Birth mentioned in the Admission Certificate and the photo ID/the certificate brought in support of the Date of Birth, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination.”.
The examination for the SSC CGL Tier 2 will be conducted for selection of suitable candidates non-gazetted and non-technical posts with various central government departments and ministries. The recruitment are for Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts such as preventive officers, assistant section officer etc.
The scheme of tier 2 examination will be of 200 marks with a 2 hours duration. Paper I and paper II are compulsory for all posts and paper III is compulsory only for those candidates who will be applying for the posts of statistical investigators grade II and compiler.
It will be a OMR based examination. Part A of OMR answer sheet to be filled in ball point only and part B should be filled with HB pencil as per the instructions given in the OMR sheet. Candidates should write and code his / her name, roll number, ticket number, name of the examination as mentioned in Admission Certificate, Date of birth and Test Form Number fully and correctly in the relevant places in OMR Answer Sheet.
Tier I exam will be used to screen the candidates for appearing in Tier-II examination for various papers which will be specifically required for different groups of posts. However, marks of such screened candidates in Tier-I will be taken into account for final ranking of candidates for selecting them for the interview/skill test and also final selection.
The interview will be held at the Commission‘s regional / sub regional offices of the Commission or at any other place. SC / ST candidates called for interview will be paid TA as per Govt. Orders. However, no TA is payable to any candidate for appearing in the written examination. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
Tier I exam was conducted from June 04 to 13, 2019 at different centers all over the country. Re-examination of some venues was also conducted by the Commission on June 19, 2019. After which a response sheet along with a tentative answer key was released June 25, 2019 which was available till June 30, 2019.
