State Bank of India (SBI) is organizing recruitment for specialist cadre officers on a regular basis. The same has been notified vide advt no CRPD/SCO-SYSTEM/2019-20/11. The registrations are active until September 25, 2019. The interested ones can apply at bank.sbi/careers or sbi.co.in/careers.
Vacancies to be filled through this recruitment is 477 in thirty five departments for four grades – Junior Management Grade Scale I (JMGS-I), Middle Management Grade Scale II (MMGS-II), Middle Management Grade Scale III (MMGS-III), and Senior Management Grade Scale IV (SMGS-IV). The bank is looking for candidates who has done engineering in computer science / IT/ ECE or MCA / M.Sc.(IT) / M.Sc. (Computer Science) from any recognized university or institute.
Candidates will be required to register themselves online by going to SBI’s career portal. On the home page, search for the advertisement number “CRPD/SCO-SYSTEM/2019-20/11” under latest announcement section. Click for new registration and go through the instructions before filling up the form. Then the candidates have to submit a few basic details to obtain a provisional registration number and password generated by the system. Login with it and start filling the form. After registering, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the system generated online application forms.
Along with the application forms, categories belonging to general / OBC / EWS has to submit application fees and intimation charges of Rs 750. Whereas the categories belonging to SC / ST / PWD has to pay only the intimation charges of rs 125. The payment has to be made by using debit card / credit card / internet banking. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated which should be printed and retained by the candidate.
The selection of candidates for posts for serial number 1 to 24 will be on the basis of online written test and interview. The online written test is scheduled to be conducted tentatively on October 20, 2019. The call letter of the test will be made available on the bank’s website.
The written test will be from test of reasoning, quantitative aptitude, english language, general IT knowledge, role based knowledge. The respective marks for each of these sections are 50, 35, 35, 50, 100. A final merit list will be prepared by aggregating the marks of Professional Knowledge test (out of 150 marks) and interview (out of 25 marks)
The selection of candidates from serial number 25 to 35 will be based on short-listing and interview. The shortlisting committee of the bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and then called the candidates for the Interview carrying a total of 100 marks. Then a final merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained in Interview.
(JMGS I) will be paid in a pay scale of 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020, (MMGS II) in 31705-1145/1-32850-1310/10-45950, (MMGS III) in 42020-1310/5-48570-1460/2-51490 and (SMGS-IV) in 50030-1460/4-55870-1650/2-59170.
