Staff Selection Commission (SSC), central region has released revised details for CGL tier 2 admit card for the upcoming computer based exam of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2018-19. The SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit Card of Central Region can be downloaded by candidates who have opted their exam center within Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The second stage of the combined graduate level exam is scheduled to be held from September 11, 2019, to September 14, 2019. Candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the official web portal of SSC central region, ssc-cr.org from three days prior to the exam.
SSC CR had released the application status a little while ago. However, the Staff Selection Commission of Central Region and all others had to revise the scheduling of exams due to technical reasons. So now the earlier status stands cancelled, and revised status should be checked.
When to download SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit Card for Central Region?
Candidates who have their exams on September 11, 2019, can download their admit card from September 8, 2019 that is tomorrow. Then those with exam date of September 12, 2019, can download their call letters from September 9, 2019. After that from September 10, 2019, candidates who have exam on September 13, 2019, can download their admit card. And finally, for the last exam date that is September 14, 2019, SSC CGL tier 2 admit card will be available from September 11, 2019.
In this way each test taker is being issued his or her admit card for CGL tier 2 exactly three days before exam. Revised application status is already available.
Where to download SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit Card for Central Region?
Candidates can download their admit card by going to the website, ssc-cr.org. Then click on the link that says “revised status / download admit card for Combined Graduate Level Tier II”. The next page displays the following message: “The earlier status, which was uploaded on our website on 30/08/2019 has been changed due to certain unavoidable technical/administrative reasons. Please check your revised status here by clicking on tab below. You will able to download your admit card 3 days prior to your date of examination”.
Now candidates need to click on the proceed now button and then on the next page, click the revised status cum admit card download button. This takes them to a new page where a table of information on which SSC is for which region is explained. Here, candidates need to click the proceed now button. Finally, this takes to the admit card download cum status check login page.
There are three options to download the admit card – either by registration ID and date of birth, or roll number and date of birth, or name, father’s name, and date of birth. All online applicants can simply go ahead with first option. Those who know roll numbers can go for the second one. And those who do not know roll number can use the third option. SSC CR strictly advises candidates to not download multiple admit cards as SSC might block the option to download the admit card further.
The Staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Graduate Level Examination (tier-I), 2018 from June 04 to 13, 2019 in a computer based mode. Re-examination of 4,825 candidates was conducted on June 19, 2019 and examination for one candidate was conducted on July 07, 2019 on the orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. A total of 8,36,139 candidates appeared in the examination.
Based on marks scored in tier-I examination, candidates have been shortlisted, category-wise, to appear for tier-II examination. Separate cut-offs have been fixed for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer (List-1), Junior Statistical Officer in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (List-2) and all other posts (List-3).
As the tier I exam was conducted in multiple shifts, the marks scored by the candidate have been normalized as per the formula published by the Commission. Such normalized marks have been used to qualify the candidates for the next stage of tier II examination.
The tier II exam will have questions from quantitative abilities, english language and comprehension, statistics, general studies (finance and economics). It will be held for a duration of hours carrying a total marks of 200. The papers bears a negative marking of 0.25 for any incorrect answers.
