Andhra Pradesh Grama Sachivalayam will close the four days objection window for Village Agriculture Secretary answer key and Village Horticulture Secretary answer key today, at 5 pm. Any candidate who wishes to convey concern about any question in either of the exams must do so by accessing the “objections on initial key” link at any of the websites gramasachivalayam.ap.gov.in, vsws.ap.gov.in, wardsachivalayam.ap.gov.in. On basis of objections received, the sachivalayam will formulate a final key and evaluate results.
The sachivalayam had released the answer keys for Village Agriculture and Horticulture Secretary exam held on September 04, 2019 in the forenoon session, and Horticulture Secretary exam held in the afternoon session on the same day. Candidates can go through the answer keys any time that is even after objections close. For each exam, answer keys are available for sets A, B, C, and D. In each answer key, the correct answers of all 150 questions asked in exam are available. It is not clear whether final keys will be issued or not, however if they are, then they will also be available on the three official website of Grama Sachivalayam – vsws.ap.gov.in, wardsachivalayam.ap.gov.in and gramasachivalayam.ap.gov.in.
Candidates who have appeared in the exam, can visit any the above mentioned websites and scroll down on the ‘Initial Key’ section. After clicking on it, candidates will be able to see the link to submit the objections at the top of the page. Then they have to submit the objections by entering their hall ticket number, date of birth, post, booklet code, and question number. After submitting the details, click on ‘Get Details’ tab.
The answers keys are available in a pdf format and there are four different booklets as Series A, B, C and D. Candidates can click on any of the booklet and check the answer keys. There are 150 questions in each of the test series booklets of village agriculture secretary and horticulture secretary.
The village horticulture secretary was opened for 4000 vacancies and village agriculture secretary was opened for 6714 vacancies. The candidates on selection will be paid Rs 15,000 monthly. After completion of the 2 years of probation, they will be given regular scale of pay. They will be deployed to work in the village secretariats of Grama Panchayats.
The selection of the candidates will based on the merit in the OMR written examination. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs, and 30% for SCs, STs and PHs. In the event of SC and SC candidates not turning for the selection, they shall be considered on the basis of rank with reference to their performance in the written exam, irrespective of the marks secured.
The village horticulture examination comprised of multiple choice questions for a total of 150 marks. It had two parts, Part A included questions from – General studies and mental ability (such as quantitative aptitude / data interpretation, current affairs, history and culture with focus on AP, social justice, Indian polity and governance.) Part B will included questions from – the syllabus prescribed for 2 years diploma course in Horticulture by Dr. YSR Horticultural University, Andhra Pradesh.
Whereas, the village agriculture examination comprised of two papers that are general studies and mental ability of 50 marks and questions based on agriculture subject carrying 100 marks. The total marks of both the papers was 150. For each correct answer 1 mark is awarded and 0.25 marks is deducted for each wrong answer.
The number of candidates applied for AP Grama Sachivalayam recruitment is 21,69,814 out of which 12,54,071 appeared for category I, 1,33,822 for category II A, 1,55,173 for category II B, 6,26,748 for category III.
