Notification for SSC CGL 2022 will be released any time today. The Commission had previously mentioned the dates in the calendar that is available on ssc.nic.in. Candidates will be able to apply till January 23, 2022.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be releasing the detailed advertisement for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2022. As per the tentative calendar of examinations released on ssc.nic.in, the advertisement for SSC CGL 2022 will be released today, i.e. December 23. Candidates who are desiring to apply for the exam can keep an eye on the official website to check the notification as and when it is released. It must be noted that this schedule is for the Tier-1 computer-based examinations. Interested candidates will be able to check the complete eligibility criteria from the official notification as and when it is released. However, as per the previous notification, here are certain important requisites for SSC CGL 2022.
Eligibility
In terms of nationality, the applying candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal, or Bhutan. People of Indian origin who have migrated to other places but now intend to settle in India can also apply for the exam. However, they will be required to produce the certificate of eligibility as issued by the Indian government.
Age Limit
For every post, there are different age limits. The same will be listed in the official notification. A comprehensive understanding of the age limits shows that the minimum age should be 18 years while the maximum is 32 years. Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories will get a relaxation of 05 years, OBC – 03 years, PWD – 10 to 15 years, etc.
Documents Required
Before filling up the online application form for SSC CGL 2022, candidates are required to keep a soft copy of their photograph ready. The photograph should be in a JPEG format and must have a file size ranging between 20 KB to 50 KB. Further, it must have a dimension of 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
Examination Scheme
A total of four tiers will be there in the SSC CGL 2022 examination. This notification will be released for Tier-1. The first and the second tiers follow a computer-based examination (CBE) mode while the third tier will be conducted in a pen and paper (descriptive) mode. However, the fourth or the final tier will be a computer proficiency test or data entry skill test depending on the applied post.
