According to the official marking scheme of SSC CGL Tier 1, candidates need to add 2 marks for each correct answer and there will be a deduction of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer. The candidates need to multiply all the correct answers with 2 and then deduct the number of wrong answers with 0.5. Upon calculation, they will find the total marks scored in the examination.
The result is now expected to be released soon. As per past schedule of SSC CGL exams, the result is announced around 2 months after the exam. In 2019, the Tier 1 exam was held from June 04 to June 13, 2019, and the result of the same was announced on August 20, 2019.
