The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to announce the final results for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2019 examination today, i.e. February 15, 2022. Along with the results, the Commission will also release the merit lists for all candidates. They can check the same from the official website – ssc.nic.in. The ones who will qualify for the exam are going to be recruited as per the posts mentioned in the official notification.

Moreover, SSC will also publish the cut-off scores and the qualification will be as per tiers 1, 2, 3 and 4. Candidates who will secure scores more than or equal to the cut-off marks are going to be called for final selection. Step 1- Go to the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in
Step 2- Under the ‘Latest News’ section, click on the SSC CGL 2019 result and final merit list link
Step 3- Candidates can crosscheck their roll numbers in the list
Step 4- Download and save the final merit list for future reference.
The merit lists contain the roll number, name, rank and qualifying status of the candidates. In 2018, the merit lists for the SSC CGL exam were prepared based on the scores of all tiers. However, there were some alterations depending on the post that the candidate has applied for. Here is how the scores were calculated.
- Assistant Audit Officer (AAO) – Tier-I + Tier-II (Paper-I + Paper-II + Paper-IV) + Tier-III
- Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) – Tier-I + Tier-II (Paper-I + Paper-II + Paper-III) + Tier-III
- All posts except AAO & JSO – Tier-I + Tier-II (Paper-I + Paper-II) + Tier-III
Merit Lists
Please note that there will be multiple lists that will be released along with the results. The first list usually contains the official notification along with the cut-off marks for different posts. Similarly, there will be post-wise merit lists containing the roll number, name, rank and qualifying status candidates.
It must be noted that the cut-off marks for each post are again divided into different reservation categories. To have a better idea of the cut-off marks, it is advised to go through the cut-off marks of the previous year. Over the years, the has been a change in the cut-off marks for each post.
