SRMJEEE 2021: Tomorrow, Registration will end, Slot Booking and Mock Test will begin, RPOM guidelines released

SRM will conclude SRMJEEE 2021 registration tomorrow, and also start slot booking process, mock test, admit card download. The remote proctored online mode exam guidelines have been issued.

SRMJEEE 2021 Registration Slot Booking Mock Test

The SRM Institute of Science and Technology will do multiple activities related to the institute’s engineering entrance exam, SRMJEEE 2021, tomorrow, May 19, 2021. The plethora of things that will happen related to this important exam include – end of registration, start of slot booking, and start of mock tests.

To start with, the registration deadline for the SRM Joint Entrance Exam for Engineering happens to be tomorrow. This is the extended last date, and hence further extensions seem unlikely. Earlier, the last date to apply was May 17, 2021. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must therefore apply at the earliest. Though it must be noted that this deadline applies to the phase 1 exam. Thus, registrations will remain open even after tomorrow, but all applications submitted after tomorrow will be for phase 2.

SRMJEEE 2021

The next important event of the day will be start of slot booking process. Candidates have been enquiring about the same for quite some time. And now it has been clarified that slot booking will remain open for three days, May 19, 20, and 21, 2021. Candidates are required to book their test slots in the given window. It is relevant to note that slot booking and hall ticket download process will happen hand-in-hand. That is, as soon as one books slot, the admit card for the candidate will be generated and made available for download.

And last, but not the least, SRM will also activate mock test link tomorrow. The mock test is a compulsory step for all candidates. The purpose of the mock test is to help candidates in understanding the remote proctored exam modalities before appearing for the actual exam. The link to the mock test will remain activated on May 19, 20, and 21, 2021. Candidates are required to download the Safe Exam Browser(SEB) software on their laptop or computer. Only those who participate in the Mock test of SRMJEEE will be allowed to appear in the final exam of SRMJEEE.

The Institute will conduct the SRMJEEE exam this year through the Remote Proctored method. However, the . As per the official notification, the test slot will be opened from 19th May 2021 to 21st May 2021 such that the students can book their slots. The candidates are required to visit the online Ad-mission portal to fill the application and book slot to appear in the SRMJEEE exam.

SRM will conduct phase 1 of SRMJEEE 2021 on May 23, and 24, 2021. The test will be held as a remote proctored online mode (RPOM) examination.

The requirements of the SRMJEEE RPOM includes having a computer or laptop with Pentium IV/Dual Core, 1GB RAM or higher, 80 GB HDD or higher, 15” colour Monitor, Keyboard, and Microsoft Windows 10. Webcam and microphone are also compulsory.

It is also necessary to have an internet connection with at least 512kb. In addition to this, the candidates while appearing for the test must be dressed formally. While appearing in the online test, the candidates will be assigned a proctor who will monitor the candidate’s continuously through webcam.
