SRM Institute of Science and Technology has conducted SRMJEEE 2021 Phase 1 on May 23 and 24, 2021. The entrance exam was held as a remote proctored test and it was AI monitored. The University will announce the result for Phase 1 on May 27, 2021. It will be announced online, and candidates can check it from srmist.edu.in. Phase 2 of SRMJEEE 2021 is due to be held on July 25 and 26, 2021.
To check the result, candidates need to visit the official website and look for the SRMJEEE result link. Next, the candidate needs to click on the link. After this, a new login portal appears on the screen. Now, the candidates need to enter e-mail and password to access the login. Post this, the candidate’s result is displayed on the next page.
The result comprises important details, like candidate’s name, roll number, application number, percentile score, rank, qualifying status, overall merit rank, photo, etc. The candidates whose rank will be equal to or more than the cut off marks will be called to attend the counselling and seat allocation.
However, candidates who will not qualify SRMJEEE 2021 Phase 1 may apply for Phase 2 of the exam. The registration for Phase 2 is open until July 20, 2021. Registration is open at srmist.edu.in. Even the new candidates can register for the exam.
The candidate willing to apply for the SRMJEEE exam must have passed or appeared in class 12 or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths / Biology from a recognised board. The examination can be taken up by any candidate pan India and also the candidates who are foreign citizens can apply under the NRI category.
SRMJEEE remote proctored test is of 02 hours and 30 minutes. A total of 125 objective questions were asked in the examination out of which 35 questions were from Physics and Chemistry each and 40 questions were asked from Mathematics. Apart from this, 5 questions from English and 10 questions from General Aptitude are also asked in the exam.
The question paper is only provided in the English language. Every correct answer fetches one mark and there is no negative marking in the exam.
SRM University conducts the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam 2021 in two phases for the candidates willing to pursue B.tech courses in the institute. The examination can be taken up only by those candidates who possess the required eligibility criteria as mentioned by the institute in their official brochure.
