SRM University intakes admission in B.tech courses via SRMJEEE 2019. However, the top rankers of state board, IIT JEE, and Tamil Nadu district toppers. can take advantage of the direct admission process by SRM University. The admission process at SRM University has already begun for the academic session 2019-20.
The last date to apply for SRM University B.tech admission via SRMJEEE is March 31, 2019. SRMJEEE is an online entrance exam that will be held from April 15 to 25, 2019. Apart from offering direct admission SRM also offers various scholarship schemes to the eligible candidates.
SRM University will provide direct admission to students under three categories that is, All the state board toppers that are students from each state who topped the state board examination and also the 1st rank holders of CBSE, ICSE board will not have to take SRMJEEE 2019 in order to take admission to SRM Univesity.

Also, The topper of each district of Tamil Nadu will be able to take direct admission in SRM University. Those students who are exemplary sportsperson on a national and international level can also take admission without taking the entrance examination.
Scholarship schemes at SRM University
Now, talking about the scholarship offered at SRM University, It offers 10 different types of scholarship to talented, deserving and needy students. The Founder’s Scholarship is for top 1-100 SRMJEEE rank holders, 10,000IIT JEE rank holders, State board and CBSE board toppers, Tamil Nadu district toppers and Sportspersons. All the candidates who belong to any of these categories will get a 100% fee waiver on Tuition, Hostel and transport Fee. The candiadtes who are sportsperson be it nation level, state level, an international level will not have to pay the application fee as well.
The SRM Merit Scholarship provides a 100% tuition fee waiver to candiadtes who rank from 101 to 500 in SRMJEEE 2019, 75% tuition fee waiver to candiadtes who rank from 501 to 1000, 50% tuition fee waiver to candiadtes who rank from 1001 to 2000 and a 25% tuition fee waiver to candiadtes who rank from 2001 to 3000 in SRMJEEE 2019.
