However, Lovely Professional University (LPU) has become the first University to have hosted all the 3 of them. LPU has hosted Honourable Former President Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Honourable Vice President Shri Venkaiah Naidu and latest is Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Shri Pranab Mukherjee has visited LPU twice. In addition to that, he is also the ‘honoris causa’ doctorate recipient of LPU. Vice President Shri Venkaiah Naidu has chaired the convocation and recently PM Modi the inaugurated 106th Indian Science Congress at LPU. This makes LPU as the only university in the country to host all the first three citizens of the country.
