The South Indian Bank (SIB) has released the call letter for the Clerk Probationary Officer (PO) exam. The exam is to be conducted on February 14, 2022. Candidates can download the call letter by logging in to the website southindianbank.com. Candidates will also be sent an intimation SMS. They can click on the direct link and download the call letter. Candidates will be able to download the call letter till February 14, 2022.
SIB Admit Card 2022 – how to download
Step 1: Go to the official website, southindianbank.com
Step 2: Click on the ‘Careers’ section at the top of the screen.
Step 3: Select ‘View Current openings’ tab.
Step 4: In the ‘Recruitment of Probationary Clerk’ tab, click on ‘Download Call Letter’.
Step 5: The candidates will see important instructions regarding the exam. On the right side under ‘Login Credentials’ enter Registration Number/ Roll number and Password/ Date of Birth and log in.
Step 6: The candidates will be able to view the admit card. Tap the ‘Download’ icon at the top of the PDF to download the call letter.
Candidates will find the test center details, exam time, and reporting time in the call letter. Candidates should reach the exam center at the reporting time mentioned, for identity verification. The details in the call letter should match the details in the ID proof. Candidates have to affix a passport size photograph on the call letter, preferably the same photograph as uploaded at the time of registration. The call letter and a photo ID proof are mandatory to secure entry into the exam hall. Ration card and Driver’s license will not be considered as ID proof by the SIB.

Exam pattern
Candidates can attempt the exam only In English. There will be a penalty of 1/4th of the mark for wrong answers. The duration of the exam is 140 minutes.

Candidates who qualify the exam will be shortlisted for the interview stage. The final merit list will be prepared based on the consolidated marks from both the online test and interview. Candidates will be recruited based on this. The probationary period is 6 months. If the candidate’s performance is satisfactory, the position will be confirmed. The service agreement period is 3 years. Candidates will be remunerated according to the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) pay scale.
