Karnataka Public Service Commission has released the KPSC SDA exam date for all the candidates on the official website, kpsc.kar.nic.in. As per the official schedule available, the SDA (Second Division Assistant) exam is going to be held on September 18 and September 19, 2021. The call letters for Junior Assistant/ SDA is expected to release in a few days.
As of now, the commission has not released any date for the release of the SDA admit card. The commission has released around 1289 vacancies against the post of Second Division Assistant and 1112 vacancies against the post of First Division Assistant in May 2020.
According to the official notification, the selection process of Second Division Assistant comprises a written exam followed by an Interview/Skill test. The candidates who successfully qualify for the exam will be appointed against the vacancies and liable to receive emoluments within the pay scale of Rs. 21400/- to Rs. 42000/-.
The exam pattern for the post of KPSC SDA (Second Division Assistant) comprises three papers. The first paper is a Descriptive paper held in the Kannada language for 150 marks. The duration to complete the test is 1 hour and 30 minutes. Paper 2 and 3 are objective-based papers held for 100 marks each held for a duration of 1 hour 30 minutes per paper.
Paper 2 will have questions from General English/ General Kannada while Paper 3 is going to have questions from General Knowledge. The candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer while a negative marking of 0.25 marks is applicable for the wrong answer. The candidates need to score high marks in the exam to qualify for the second round i.e. Interview round.

Step 1: Click on the link of the KPSC official website, kpsc.kar.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, find the link to the KPSC admit card and click on the same
Step 3: Then, enter the username, password along with the captcha code and submit the details.
Step 4: The admit card for the exam will be displayed on the next page and then they need to cross-check the details available on the same.
Once the candidates cross-verify all the details in the admit card they need to save a copy of the same on their device for future reference.
