The State Bank of India is inviting applications for their SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2021. Candidates who wish to apply can do so via online application through SBI’s official site sbi.co.in. As of now, the last date for application is July 26, 2021. This recruitment drive by SBI is set to fill up 6100 vacancies. The tentative month for the online examination is August 2021.
To apply for the SBI Apprentice Recruitment Programme, visit the SBI’s official website i.e sbi.co.in and then scroll down and click on Career option, available under the Home tab. After that click on ‘Join SBI’ – ‘Current Openings’. Head straight to the ‘apply online’ link for the apprentice post and make a new registration on the IBPS portal. Now, fill up the form and upload all the necessary documents. Lastly, pay the fee, click on submit application and download the form. For future reference, do not forget to take a printout. Last date to take the print out is August 10, 2021.
SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2021 Detailed Notification
The application fees for the candidates belonging to the General/OBC/EWS category is Rs 300. However, the SC/ST/PWD category students are exempted from paying the fee. The online application will be accepted only after the payment of the registration fee, before the last date. This whole recruitment drive is under the Skill India initiative. The selected candidates will have to undergo an internship. These candidates will also receive a stipend of Rs. 15000 per month.
Not only that but shortlisted candidates will also be given relaxation and weightage in the Junior Associate recruitment, after successfully completing the apprenticeship. The training period will be only for one year. An important point to note is that the candidates can apply for engagement in one state only. In that case, they can appear for the examination only once.
In terms of eligibility criteria, the candidate must be a graduate from a recognized University or Institute as on October 31. 2020. The minimum age limit should not go below 20 years and the maximum age limit should be 28 years as on October 31, 2020. However, the maximum age limit is only for the unreserved and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories, the relaxation in upper age is applicable as per Government of India norms.
The entire selection process for the engagement of apprentices will be based on an online written test and the local language test. The questions for the test, except for General English, will be bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi. For the objective-type tests, wrong answers will lead to the negative marking, of 0.25 marks.
