Sastra University has released the official admission notification for the academic year 2021-22 on the official website sastra.edu. According to the advertisement, the registration process is open for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses including B.Tech, M.Tech, BA, BBA and many more. Interested candidates can download the application form and submit it online mode on the official portal. They must bear in mind that the online submission option shall be disabled one day prior to the registration deadline. Hence, candidates must complete all registration formalities beforehand. University authorities shall not be accepting any in-person application form.
According to the official advertisement, the last date to submit the online application form for B.Tech and 5-year integrated M.Tech courses is July 31, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. Campuses offering these courses are located in Thanjavur and Kumbakonam. Candidates shall be granted admission on their Class 12 scores and their JEE Main scores. Interested candidates can register for the respective courses by paying an application fee of Rs.650.
Sastra university is also offering courses like the 5-year integrated BA, BBA, B.Com., and LLB (Hons.). Admission to such courses shall solely be based on marks acquired in Class 12 as well as CLAT 2021. Again, candidates applying for these scores have to pay Rs. 650 as registration fee. The deadline to complete all the registration formalities is July 31, 2021, up to 5:00 pm.
Besides the programmes mentioned above, the concerned university also offers a variety of other courses. Based on the preferred course, candidates have to pay either Rs.650 or Rs.350 as an application fee. Here again, the deadline to submit the online application form is July 31, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. Candidates shall be admitted to these courses based on the scores obtained in the qualifying degree or exam.
The advertisement further clarifies that the online entrance exam for subjects like Arithmetic, Numerical and Reading Comprehension shall be conducted depending on the delay in Class 12, CLAT 2021 or JEE Main 2021 results. The application process shall be conducted only through the online mode on the official website sastra.edu.
During the registration process, all candidates shall receive a unique User ID and password on their registered email ID. Using these credentials, candidates can access their application form to make the necessary changes. They shall also use this facility to pay the application fee and enter their Class 12, JEE Main or CLAT marks as and when they are announced.
Candidates are instructed to pay the application fee in the form of a Demand Draft addressed to SASTRA which is payable at Thanjavur. Once the candidates have submitted their application fee, they shall receive a confirmation on their registered email ID. The application number mentioned in that email must be carefully noted for future reference.
