Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) Bhilai is recruiting eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Medical Specialist, Medical Officer, Junior Medical Technologist. The conducting body has also published a recent notification in this regard on the official website, sail.co.in. Candidates who are interested in recruitment can apply online for the 38 advertised posts. Online registrations for SAIL Recruitment 2020 will start from December 14, 2020, onwards. The last date to submit the online applications for SAIL recruitment is January 04, 2021.
As per the notification, SAIL has advertised 19 posts for Medical Specialist, 01 vacancies for Medical Officer (OHS), 11 for Medical Officer and 07 for Junior Medical Technologist (Trainee) Lab. Applicants who are recruited under these posts will be posted at Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital and Research Centre Bhilai Steel Plant.
SAIL Recruitment 2020 Detailed Notification
Before candidates submit their applications for the SAIL recruitment we suggest reading the eligibility criteria first. To apply for Medical Specialist post, candidates should have an MBBS degree with PG Degree/ DNB in relevant discipline. They should also have a minimum of 03 years of post-qualification work experience in a recognized medical college/ hospital/ institution. Those who are applying for Medical Officer (OHS) should have an MBBS degree with Diploma in Industrial Health/ Associate Fellowship in Industrial Health. They should also have one-year work experience in a recognized college/ university.
For the post of Junior Medical Technologist, candidates must have B.Sc in Medical Lab Technology with a minimum of 50% marks. Those who have passed 12th class and have a minimum of 02 years Diploma in Medical Lab Technology can also apply. To apply for Medical Officer post, candidates should have MBBS degree from MCI recognized university/ institution and one-year post-qualification work experience.
Eligible and interested candidates can apply for SAIL Bhilai recruitment through sail.co.in. While applying they have to submit the requisite application fee. For the Medical Specialist/ Medical Officer vacancies the application is Rs. 590/-. To apply for Junior Medical technologist Lab candidates have to pay a fee amounting to Rs. 295/-. However, SC/ ST/ PWD/ ESM or Departmental candidates are exempted from the fee submission.
Candidates will be shortlisted for Medical Officer/ Medical Officer (OHS) based on their performance in online test and interview. There will not be CBT for the Medical Specialist post. Candidates who will apply for Medical Specialist post have to appear for interview round (100 marks). Those who apply for Junior Medical Technologist post have to qualify CBT and Skill Test.
