Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) has released the notification regarding the B.Sc Nursing entrance examination on the official website of RUHS at ruhsraj.org. According to the notification the B.Sc Nursing entrance examination will be held in either the third or fourth week of January 2022. Officials have not yet disclosed the fixed date for the exam, although the dates can be expected any time now. Admit cards for the same will be released a week before the B.Sc Nursing entrance exam. Applicants are advised to stick to the official website of RUHS for the latest updates and notifications regarding the B.Sc nursing exam.
All relevant information regarding all the exams under RUHS is readily available on its official website. Generally, RUHS conducts all of its examinations in two primary slots. Therefore, the B.Sc Nursing exam can be expected to be held in Slots 1 & 2 from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm respectively. Applicants are instructed to report an hour prior to their examination at their respective examination center. All examination and center-related details will be printed on the admit card provided by the university. Admit cards will be released on the official website of the university mentioned above.
Exam Pattern
This year RUHS has scheduled to conduct the B.Sc Nursing 2021 entrance exam in an offline OMR mode. The exam will be conducted for a total of 120 minutes. 100 questions will be framed for 100 marks. The marking scheme remains simple as it is. One mark will be awarded for every correct answer and 0 marks for every un-attempted answer. No negative marking is used for incorrect answers. The question paper will be printed in two primary languages: English, Hindi. Multiple choice questions with 1 correct answer out of 4 given options will be asked in the exam.
According to the notification posted, “Medium of instruction for the entrance test will be English and Hindi. If any discrepancy is found in the question paper then the English version will be given priority. There will not be any provision of negative marking”.

The syllabus for the B.SC Nursing entrance examination for seeking admission in various B.Sc Nursing courses include standard 10+2 Physics, Chemistry, Biology syllabus. All applicants are advised to get through with the B.Sc entrance exam syllabus prior to examination. Although the exam syllabus remains simple as it is. Candidates need to prepare their class 11th and 12th Physics, Chemistry, and Biology syllabus in order to prepare well for the exam. In Biology topics like Origin and Evolution of Life, Human Disorders, Cells, Ecosystems, etc. will be of utmost priority. For Physics part Light and Sound, Units and Measurements, Electricity and magnetism, Heat Transfer, Vibration, and Waves should be prepared well with other important topics. So far the Chemistry section is concerned, topics such as Organic Chemistry, Chemical Bonding, Structure Of Atoms, States of Matter, The Periodic Table, Organic Compounds, and common solutions should be prepared well with other important concepts of chemistry.
