Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) invites applications against 3896 vacancies for the post of Gram Vikas Adhikari (Village Development Officer) on its official website, rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The candidates who possess the required eligibility criteria need to apply against the vacancies on the official website of the board.
According to the official notification, the board has announced a total of 3896 vacancies out of which the Non-Scheduled area is 3222. While the vacancies for the Scheduled area is equivalent to 674.
The online application for the RSMSSB Gram Vika Adhikari will commence on September 10, 2021, to October 09, 2021. The tentative dates for conducting the preliminary exam is December 2021 and the mains exam is February 2022.
The candidates who wish to apply for the RSMSSB Gram Vikas Adhikari post need to abide by the basic eligibility criteria as mentioned on the official notification. According to the same, the age limit for the unreserved candidates is 18 to 40 years. Along with this, age relaxation of upto 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/EBC/Female (unreserved) category. Similarly, age relaxation of upto 10 years is applicable to female candidates who belong to SC/ST/EBC category. These relaxations are only applicable if the candidate is a domicile of Rajasthan.
The RSMSSB Gram Vikas Adhikari application form will be available on the official website from the dates mentioned. The candidates need to initially create an SSO id and then log in with the same to fill the application form. In the next step, they need to fill the application form with the relevant details i.e. personal details, academic details, address etc. Next, they need to upload the scanned photograph and signature within the prescribed limit. The dimension for the candidate’s photograph is 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm and the prescribed size limit for the same is 50kb to 100kb. In a similar way, the size limit for the candidate’s signature is 20kb to 50kb. The application fee for general and OBC category candidates is Rs 400 and Rs 350 respectively. While the same for SC/ST category students is Rs 250.
As per the selection process, the candidates need to appear for the preliminary and mains section. The candidates who successfully clear both the section with high marks will stand a chance to get selected for the post of Gram Vikas Adhikari.
The exam pattern for the RSMSSB Gram Vikas Adhikari is not mentioned on the official website as of now and the same will be updated soon. However, as per the notification, the preliminary examination will be of qualifying nature and the candidate’s selection for the aforesaid post will be made on the basis of marks scored in the Mains exam.
