Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB NTPC CBT 1 result on the regional websites of the different RRBs. The written examination for RRB NTPC was conducted from December 28, 2020, to January 13, 2021, in 7 phases. As per data available at least 1 crore and 25 lakhs candidates have registered for the RRB NTPC examination back in 2019. Apart from the result, the board has also released the region-wise cut-off marks and individual scorecards for the aspirants.
Candidates can download the results from the websites of different zones. The result is available in the PDF document format. The document lists the roll numbers and names of candidates who have been shortlisted.
The candidates who secure marks equal to or more than the cut-off marks prescribed for the category now stand a chance to appear on the second phase of the RRB NTPC exam. The board has released the provisional and final answer key for the RRB NTPC exam earlier in August 2021. As of now, the tentative exam date for RRB NTPC phase 2 is February 14 to 18, 2022. Earlier, the board has released a notice that says the number of vacancies for the ex-servicemen has now been revised. The board has revised the vacancies at least 10 percent of the total vacancies.
The board has conducted the RRB NTPC phase 1 in seven phases and the table below depicts the number of candidates who have participated in the exam in each phase:

As the examination was conducted for nearly months in multiple shifts. Hence, it is highly anticipated that the board will consider a normalization formula to ensure transparency and fairness in the result declaration process. RRB has notified approx 35,000+ vacancies in multiple categories for the Non-technical posts in 2019. However, citing some unavoidable reasons and the pandemic the examination was delayed multiple times before it commenced in 2020.
